Take My Hand (and walk out of the song)

The winds blow down cerebral mountains
Cross breeze catch me by surprise
Suddenly I'm trapped beyond my limits
Stuck behind flesh colored eyes.
Stop me if I appear to be mistaken
Stop me if I get the story wrong
Stop me now if this seat is taken
Or take my hand and walk out of the song

Easy to be sad and lonely
Easy to be lonesome with someone there
Comfortable trappings yet bare existence
Trying to feel I really care
Show me cloistered self is overrated
Show me love is ever lasting long
Show me your emotions are not still gated
Or take my hand and walk out of the song

Make believe that its okay
It's how I was raised and still today
I push. But never seem to get nowhere
So I push again against nothing there
It seems to me I try to recall
If something once was there at all
If up and up seems to have an end
Then down and down becomes my friend
So fake it!
So fake it!

Raining just enough to be annoying
Sitting in the heat of the demise
Thoughts are whirling fast behind closed windows
Stuck behind these flesh colored eyes
Stop me if I appear to be mistaken
Stop me if I get the story wrong
Stop me now if this seat is taken
Or take my hand and walk out of the song
